At Aromeya, nature is not just a resource; it is a true partner. Aware that Madagascar’s environmental balance depends on the richness of its forests and natural resources, we have developed a production model that combines performance with respect for the ecosystem.
Our responsible production cycle
The diagram below illustrates the impact of our commitments and how each pillar works together to create a sustainable development model.

1 – Commitment to Forests & Biodiversity
At Aromeya, the preservation of Madagascar’s forests lies at the heart of our commitment. Aware of the importance of biodiversity for future generations, we take concrete action to contribute to the sustainable re-greening of Madagascar.

2 – Renewable wood & responsible resource management
We ensure that natural resources are used in a responsible and sustainable manner. Eucalyptus wood, a local and renewable resource, is particularly well suited to our distillation furnaces due to its strong resistance to combustion. It therefore forms the foundation of our production energy, ensuring a balance between performance, economic activity, and respect for ecosystems.

3 – Wood-efficient distillation
Thanks to the use of modern and high-performance furnaces, our distillation process significantly reduces wood consumption. This approach helps limit pressure on forests while ensuring efficient and well-controlled production.

4 – Responsible water management
In a context where water is a precious resource, we have implemented a rainwater collection and optimized management system. This allows us to preserve access to fresh water for local communities while ensuring the purity of the water used in distillation, a key factor in the quality of our essential oils.
